Just minutes from Watergate Bay, Stable Cottage has undergone a sensitive renovation and extension designed to strengthen its connection with its coastal surroundings. The project focused on repairing and upgrading the existing property, improving natural light throughout the home, and enhancing comfort while preserving the original charm.

Carefully positioned glazing and new rooflights introduce generous daylight and frame views of the surrounding landscape, reducing reliance on artificial lighting and supporting a more sustainable living environment. Additional bedrooms were incorporated to improve the cottage’s functionality as a family holiday retreat, ensuring its long term use through thoughtful adaptation rather than extensive alteration.
